Abstract

This study develops a web-based e-commerce platform for Makeup Artist (MUA) services to improve service discovery and booking efficiency. Using the Waterfall model within the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), the system was systematically built through requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The platform, developed with PHP and MySQL, includes modules for user authentication, category, product, user and vendor data management, payment, and orders. Results show the system meets defined requirements with a responsive interface and integrated modules that enhance transaction efficiency over conventional methods. Future work may integrate external payment gateways, implement service recommendation features, and expand testing. The findings aim to support digital transformation for personal service e-commerce and serve as a reference for similar applications.
